How Wanted Desk uses information
Early shop and collector trialWe use account sign-in to connect each shop, listing and reservation to the right people. A shop can publish its name, city, pickup details, card listings, prices and card photos. Those details are visible to anyone browsing the shop page.
Reservations and messages
When a collector requests cards, we save the selected listings, requested pickup time or delivery address, order note and status. The buyer and that shop can see the order, the buyer's chosen name or alias, and its messages. A buyer can optionally share a phone number so that shop can call about the reservation. The number is shown only to that shop and the buyer, can be removed by the buyer, and is cleared when the reservation is completed, cancelled or expired. We do not show a delivery address or phone number to other shops or visitors. The shop handles payment outside Wanted Desk.
Private demo and feedback
The interactive demo requires a verified email account. We save your sample shop settings, test orders and sample messages to your account so other testers cannot see or change them. We record the account email, first traffic source and country, and when you open the demo. The demo uses fictional shops and does not take a payment or create a real reservation. Feedback you send through the demo is saved in our private feedback inbox with your account identifier and the demo page context.
Site activity
We count page views by day, page, traffic source and country to understand which outreach brings useful visits. Country is estimated from the network request. These counts do not store your IP address.
Earlier collector requests
The retired card request form saved the card details, country, email and any optional story. Existing requests remain in the private admin records for follow-up or deletion on request. New card requests use the shop marketplace.
Corrections and deletion
To ask about your information or request a correction or deletion, email wanteddesk@proton.me. Include your request reference if you have one. We do not sell your information.
Photo storage
Photos uploaded by a shop are used for public card listings. We remove common image metadata before storing new uploads. Shops should upload photos of the card itself and avoid showing personal information in the visible image.
